Deliciousness

Mira and I made the most ridiculously fun cupcakes yesterday. They are undoubtedly filled with more dye and chemicals than is healthy for any two year old but really? Aren't they cute?! She had a blast with the colors, and that made it all worth it for me.

We have had a deliciously lazy summer, leaving very little to report. Mira is no longer "swimming" in Gladware (as she was last summer) and has graduated to an actual kiddy pool. In addition, our sprinklers elicit squeals of delight. Sadly, there have been few days hot enough to enjoy these simple pleasures lately.

We recently had a picnic at Munsinger Gardens in hopes of finding all kinds of photo opps. Little Miss Independent thought otherwise. In fact, we struggled to keep up with her. Although this independence proves difficult at times, it's so much fun to watch her discover things on her own.

In other news, I am pleased to say that Mira is fully potty trained now. Her newest obsession is using the "big potty" - only allowing me to help her onto the foot stool for balance. She really is growing up too fast.
